I am a horrible blogger, and it is sad because I enjoy doing it. But onto more important things.
Can you believe that it is May already?? Time really does fly when you are having fun!
Rooster is doing amazing! Her incision is completely healed and is healing great. She is becoming more and more mobile than ever, she is no longer satisfied playing on the floor. She wants to crawl faster than she does, along with stand and walk. Everyone tells me that once she starts all of that I will want to take it back, but the truth is I know she will be a happier baby once she can do all of that. She gets so frustrated that she can't do any of it that she whines and cries.
Her wanting to be more mobile doesn't help my anxiety that she is going to bump her head a little too hard. I am always worried about her, I know the doctors told me it would take a major fall or bump to harm anything, but I can't help worrying.
Her swelling is almost all the way down and she looks great!! I can't wait until the doctors tell us we don't have to come back until a year from now. We have 2 appointments this month and the one on the 21st should be our last for a while. There is a possibility of her being put in a helmet if they don't like how things are looking, but we should be able to avoid that as long as everything continues to go well.
Joe has returned to Japan, but the good news is the next time he is here it will be for good. This will be a big change in our lives, but it will work out how God intends it too. We have made the decision that we will be moving to Florida for good, have I mentioned that before? I feel like I have, my bad if so.
I have applied for a couple jobs, so we will see what turns up. I am nervous because I really need to find something before Joe gets home. I am also going to be opening an Etsy store soon, I would like to sell more hats that I make. I also, need to schedule more time to work on said hats, having a crazy 7 month old doesn't help.
Okay, speaking of that 7 month old she is waking up from her nap!
:)
Jaclyn, I love reading your blogs. WOW! 7 months old and pulling up - she will be walking soon. She is looking absolutely gorgeous. I cannot believe how well she has healed from such major surgery. God is good! You have been in our thoughts and prayers through your journey. I can't wait to get to really know "rooster"!
