Updates!

Sorry for the delay in posting, I will tell myself I need to post, and then forget.


So we have seen the surgeon, pediatrician and done our pre-op since my last post.

We thought that she had a sinus infection according to the pediatrician, but turns out it was nothing. The surgeon saw her again and said everything looks great, and that our surgery time for moved up to a 730am start time. She did warn us that we could possibly be in the hospital until Sunday or Monday, but it just depends on how Rooster is doing and what the they see.

Today we had her pre-op appointment at the hospital and that was no fun. They had to get some blood from her and had to fish around for her little veins while four of us held her still. We have to be at the hospital at 6am on Thursday, so it will be an early morning for everyone here. We got to talk to one of the anesthesiologist, and ask any questions we had. She did warn us that she will have a breathing tube and be asleep all day Thursday, so that was a slight shock since we didn't know that.

I am a lot more nervous now than I have been since we found out she would need surgery. We did enjoy a nice afternoon at the pool with our friends and tomorrow we will be taking it easy before the big day.

If everyone could keep us in your prayers, we would greatly appreciate it. We are having a prayer night tomorrow with neighbors and I truly believe God will protect my baby girl.
